GUYING

Tree guying, also known as "shoring", is a technique used in some cases by arborists to secure trees whose broken branches may pose a danger to people or nearby structures. The main advantage of guying is to considerably reduce the risk of a weakened branch falling, even in the event of a break. By installing a guy wire or prop, the tree can be supported without being injured or altered in its shape and volume.

To guarantee effective guying that is safe for the tree, it is recommended to call on professional tree pruners such as Arbre Boivin. Technical expertise is necessary from the planning phase until the installation of the stay cable. These professionals will be able to determine the best approach to secure the tree while preserving its health and integrity.

Specialized cables to avoid harming trees

Specialized cables so as not to hurt the trees. We use specialized cables minimizing drilling holes in the trees so as not to injure them when guying. The tree does not suffer any shock during this intervention and remains in good health.

Note that it is strongly recommended to carry out pruning before installing a guy wire. This will have the effect of lightening the load on the sheets and thus providing better support.
